40 cm backgammon in faux leather from Silverman & Co. with padded saffron felt, white and brown points and nickel-plated clasps. The set contains black and white checkers in urea stone, two pairs of dice, a doubling cube and two dice cups in brown faux leather, lined with felt and with a lip that catches the dice.
Urea stone checkers are heavier and harder than ordinary plastic and sit steadily on the padded felt, which also deadens the sound of checkers and dice. At 40 cm the set is large enough for comfortable play and still easy to carry under one arm.
