In Mahé , players try to win prize cards from the limited number available to them - but to win, they have to do a lap on a circular track consisting of 21 squares, and they don't just have to do a lap on the track, they have to do it while on top, so to speak.
If a piece lands on another, the bottom piece must carry the top piece the next time it moves; in addition, the owner of the top piece dictates how many dice the bottom player must roll - and if those dice total more than seven, both pieces are removed from the board. Stacks can have any number of pieces, and the one on top dictates to the active player how many dice she must roll. When a piece in the middle of a stack moves, all the pieces below it are left in place.
When a piece or stack lands on or passes the last space of the round, the owner of the top piece takes one of the prize cards; each prize has a value, and when all prizes have been claimed, the player with the highest sum of prize cards wins.
Up to seven players circle the island while retrieving stolen eggs from the T-Rex nest, receiving points for taking many eggs.
