Mamma Mia

Mamma Mia! is a card game in which players place pizza ingredients into a common pool, then try to time their pizza baking to take advantage of what is available in the kitchen.

Each player starts the game with eight different pizza orders to fill, with one of these order cards in hand; each player also starts with a hand of ingredient cards (showing pepperoni, mushrooms, pineapple, green pepper, or olives). On a turn, a player plays one or more ingredient cards of the same type into a common stack, then optionally adds a pizza order card to the stack. He then refills his hand by drawing as many cards as he played from either the common ingredient deck or his own order card deck.

Once the draw deck is depleted, the shared stack of cards is flipped over and sorted by ingredients until an order comes up. If enough ingredient cards are available to fill the order, the owner scores it; if not, the player can make up the difference by playing cards from his hand (thereby scoring the order) or by returning the card to his order deck.

Once all orders have been scored or returned, the ingredients from the pizzas are shuffled and a new round is started. After three complete rounds, the player who has fulfilled the most orders wins!
