Playthings is a sensory guessing game for 3-5 players. A group of friends are going to bed, and a creature from the realm of nightmares comes to steal their toys. The only chance of getting them back is to set traps.
Players take turns being the Night Terror, who hides toys in the rooms of the house on the playmat while the others sleep with their eyes closed. They can pick up clues along the way: feeling vibrations with their fingers under the mat or laying out bells as sound traps – and they can choose to peek. The players score points for finding their toys, while the Night Terror scores points for their mistakes and for guessing who peeked. The materials are string, wood, metal and fabric, and the illustrations are by Nick Tofani.
