Scout is a card game for 2-5 players from Oink Games, designed by Kei Kajino and nominated for the Spiel des Jahres. Each player runs a circus and has to put together the strongest combinations of performers, but the cards in hand may not be rearranged.
On a turn, a player either puts on a show - a set of adjacent cards that beats the show currently on the table - or scouts one card from the table and inserts it anywhere in their hand. One good scout can create a chain of new combinations. The game lasts as many rounds as there are players, and the most points wins.
