The Initiative is a cooperative game based on storytelling, strategy, and codes. Players take on the roles of a group of teenagers in 1994 who have come across a mysterious board game called 'The Key'. In addition to playing the mysterious board game, players also follow the lives of the teenagers through a comic book, a page of which is read at the beginning of each chapter of the game.
The Initiative is divided into a series of chapters, each lasting 30-60 minutes. The game progresses continuously - even if you don't solve all the puzzles. However, there are future rewards to be gained if you succeed. Each chapter builds on the existing knowledge the players have gained through the previous chapters.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
