In Yak The village elders have tasked you with building a large stone tower in the center of town to guide the merchants and their yaks through the Himalayan mountains. On each trip, a yak arrives in town with its cart. Does it contain stones for the tower or food for your reserves? Or will you have to visit the market to find what you need?
Each player builds their own tower. On each turn, you play cards from your hand that determine the action you want to take. You can build on the tower by trading food for stones from the yak in front of you - but be aware of your inventory - the different oxen require different types of food to trade. You can also use the turn to obtain new food items either from the oxen's cart or the market. At the end of each turn, the oxen drive a distance forward, and each player now has a new ox with different goods in front of him. It therefore requires overview and ingenuity to keep track of your own food and stone inventory - but also to keep an eye on which goods you pass on to the next player when the turn is over.
The game ends when the first player completes the fourth level of their tower. Points are then counted and a winner is determined.
The game can be made even more challenging by playing with the included "master builder" variant. Here, 3 goal cards are chosen at the start of the game, which give extra points if fulfilled.

If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
