You were desperate, and you were foolish. You borrowed 50 gems from the notorious Crow Gang, and now they want them back with interest within 3 days. You’re a simple maggot farmer at the local maggot farm, there’s no chance you’ll earn that kind of money in time, and the Crows aren't known for their flexibility.
Luckily, there are riches awaiting a person with the right amount of skill, ambition, and luck. You can fish on the beach and sell your catch to the local fishermen or scavenge in the clearing for ingredients and brew exotic ales. You can scavenge the local junkyard for materials to craft tools or steal from the market.
If you’re feeling lucky, the carnival has come to town. If you’re feeling brave, the miner's guild has plenty of tasks to be completed in the nearby mines.
This solo adventure game is the first in a planned series of Small Tin Tale games. It takes place in Brighthelm, the world first brought to life in Paupers’ Ladder.
