In the Ashes (English)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Role-playing game in book form for 1–2 players from Devir, written by Pablo Aguilera. It is a hardback gamebook, and only the book and a pencil (not included) are needed. The story takes place on the island of Obor over four acts, and the whole campaign takes around 12 hours.
The player controls several characters one after another. In combat, action cards printed on the pages are chosen, and the character's path is drawn across hex maps in the book. There are no dice – each page has a number from 1 to 6 at the top, so the book itself serves as the die – and choices are marked in the book and affect later events and the ending.
