National Economy is a strategic economic card game set in the 19th and 20th centuries, when national economies grew rapidly. Players take the roles of business owners who hire workers, construct buildings and manage cash flow to navigate an unstable and competitive market.
Each round, players assign workers to available workplaces to activate effects such as earning money, acquiring new cards or hiring additional workers. As the game progresses, new workplace cards are added to the shared pool, gradually widening the range of available actions. However, players also have to contend with rising wage demands and the risk of unpaid wages, which forces them into difficult decisions such as selling valuable assets.
The game rewards efficient resource management, long-term planning and adaptability. Strategic placement of buildings and timing are key, as players balance investment, labour and liquidity in pursuit of economic dominance.
The goal is to accumulate the most wealth by the end of the ninth and final round, calculated from the total value of your constructed buildings and remaining money.

If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
