Oath: Chronicles of Empire and Exile
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
In Oath you help drive the history of an ancient land. You can play either to carry on the old order or to bring the kingdom to ruin. The consequences of one game carry over into the following games and can change which resources and actions are available to the players.
If a player takes control of the land by stirring up anarchy and distrust, later players will have to deal with a land plagued by theft and warlords. In a later game, one of those warlords may try to found a dynasty and create a line of rulers that could last for generations or be crushed by a terrible, mysterious cult.
The game can be reset to the start at any time, and you do not need to play with the same group all the time. You can, for example, play solo on weekdays and use the same game to play with your friends at the weekend without having to stop your solo campaign.
