This is the 2016 edition of Robinson Crusoe from Portal Games. Compared with the original, the graphics have been updated, the tokens look better and the rules are clearer. It can be combined with the Voyages of the Beagle expansion, but there will be aesthetic differences, on the cards among other things.
You are stranded on a desert island together with a group of other people who were all on board the ship that now lies at the bottom of the sea. You are alone, without food or drink, and now have to survive the harsh nature and all the dangers lurking further inland.
Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island is a cooperative game in which the players work together to survive until they are rescued. The players have to build tools, hunt for food and set up a camp. Many dangers lurk on the island, such as dangerous animals, and a storm can suddenly arrive and destroy the camp.
The game comes with a long list of scenarios, with the goal changing from game to game.
Robinson Crusoe: Adventures of the Cursed Island is a complex and difficult cooperative game, but it also offers plenty of theme and plenty of immersion.
