Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon (English)
In stock at the following stores: Games København
Adventure game from Awaken Realms for 1-4 players, solo or cooperative. It is set in a version of Avalon that blends Arthurian legend with Celtic mythology and is falling into decay. The story branches according to the players' choices, and the characters develop along opposing traits such as brutality/empathy and practicality/spirituality. This opens up different abilities and card decks. The box contains 8 plastic miniatures, 10 dials, over 760 cards, over 200 pages of story, 8 adventure cards and over 110 markers.
Encounters are resolved without dice, and many of them can be settled by diplomacy instead of combat. The game is built as a campaign in chapters of 2-3 hours, in which hunger, disease and the hostile land put pressure on the group between fights.
