Burning Rome is a quick, tactical card game by Danish designer Emil Larsen about leading an army to victory in ancient Rome.
Build your army from 54 different units, generals, tactics and weapons. Send out your units and use their abilities and their position on the table to manipulate your cards and combat values. Do you prefer one long, hard pull, or would you rather outmanoeuvre your opponent quickly?
Burning Rome was created specifically to simulate historically accurate synergies and plausible confrontations between soldiers and armies in ancient Rome. You can choose to freestyle battles or to simulate specific battles from history. The game is at its very best with two players.
