Kalaha (Games Room)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Kalaha from Games Room in a newer edition: folding board in FSC-certified wood and 24 marbles, packed in a box in bold colours.
Kalaha, or mancala as the game is called in many places, is one of the oldest board games in the world. Players take turns picking up all the stones from one of their own pits and placing one in each of the following pits around the board. The player with the most stones at the end wins. The rules can be learned in under a minute, but the game can be calculated many moves ahead.
The board folds up around the pieces, so the game takes up little space and can be taken along. Games Room makes classic games and quiz sets in geometric packaging that can be left on display.
