Kalaha in smoked oak (Piet Hein)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
A beautiful and exclusive Kalaha game from Piet Hein. The beautiful design also makes it a fine decoration when you are not playing.
The board is made of smoked oak, the balls of bog oak. Bog oak is wood that has lain in a bog for thousands of years and has become almost black as a result.
Kalaha is one of the world's oldest board games and is played by two. You sow stones from your own pits around the board and harvest those that end up in your own store. The game was played in Asia and Africa 7,000 years ago, and the name comes from the Kalahari Desert, where it was played in hollows in the sand.
