Moon Base

Moon Base is an abstract game for 2 players about developing the moon. Over 6 rounds, the players place rings on the craters or on top of each other to create the Moon Base. The players try to place the rings so that their colours gain the upper hand and end up with the most points.
Moon Base stands out because of its unusual board. The craters on the moon are the spaces of the board, and the players must think tactically and long-term to place the rings so that the opponent's colours are eliminated when the rings overlap. The rings can be laid in 2 or 3 layers, and the points are often decided by how the rings are placed down to the millimetre.
A beautiful and different abstract game from the Japanese publisher Itten, known for their innovative games and beautiful wooden components.
