Strategic card game for 2 players set in feudal Japan, designed by Alex Fortineau and Mathieu Bieri and illustrated by Marine Losekoot. The box contains 16 mountain cards, 34 development cards, an imperial court tray, 4 emissary pieces, a first player marker, 4 player aids, a score pad and rules in English.
Each player has a hand and a line of 5 cards each, which in the end form a province of 2 × 5 cards. Characters such as ninjas, ronin and the Naishi score points according to their position in the province. The cards may never be moved freely, only swapped for cards from the centre or moved with the emissaries. That makes every placement a trade-off and gives more depth than the game's 20 minutes would suggest.
