Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective: The Thames Murders contains the ten original cases from the original version of Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective published by Ystari, now revised and polished. It can be played without owning any other edition of the Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective game.
Sherlock Holmes is a cooperative game that can be played by up to 8 people, but works best with 2. The game contains 10 very well written mysteries, which the players solve by travelling around London, questioning witnesses, studying newspaper articles and much more.
Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective does not hold the players by the hand, and it is entirely up to you and your partner how to approach the mysteries. If you manage to solve the riddle, you are awarded points depending on how efficient you were. You can then compare your results with those of Sherlock Holmes.
A cosy and intelligent game, best enjoyed with a pot of Earl Grey and some pipe tobacco.
