Small World is a fantasy strategy game for 2–5 players from Days of Wonder, designed by Philippe Keyaerts. The world is too small for all the creatures living in it, from dwarves and wizards to orcs and giants, and the players must conquer each other's territories to make room.
Each region a player controls gives one point, and the winner is the one with the most points at the end. The game sounds almost too simple, but the 14 races are paired at random with 20 special powers, so no two games are alike. A race that is losing can also be sent into decline, and the player chooses a new one. Nobody is knocked out along the way, as happens in many other conquest games.
