Expansion for Splendor Duel. Requires the base game to play.
The Counterfeiters adds a new resource – four purple glass chips that behave differently from the genuine gems – and seventeen counterfeiter cards that give special abilities for disrupting the opponent's plans. Eight new royal cards expand the pool and open up other paths to victory. The expansion is small enough to be kept in the base game box.
It is designed by Marc André and Bruno Cathala, who are also behind the base game.
