Yokai Sketch
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Card game for 2 players from Devir, designed by Ignasi Ferré and illustrated by Vincent Dutrait. The box contains 56 cards showing yokai, Japanese forest spirits, and sketches. The cards have no text, and the rules are in English.
Players lay sketch cards beside four piles of yokai in the elements water, fire, earth and wind. Once enough sketches are down, the player with the most cards on their side wins the yokai and its points. Special cards can summon a yokai from another pile or flip the opponent's cards. The result is a short duel with more tactics and more interaction than a pure set-collection game, and a game is over in a quarter of an hour.
