The classic Soma cube, designed by Piet Hein in 1933 and produced in many different sizes and colors. A Soma cube consists of 7 different wooden blocks, which together must form a solid cube. It can be done in 240 different ways.
Piet Hein came up with the cube during a lecture by Werner Heisenberg on quantum physics – he figured out that all irregular shapes made of at most four cubes can be assembled into a larger cube. Solution not included.
