Lord of the Rings chess set
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Chess set from The Noble Collection with characters from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Gandalf and the Fellowship make up one side, Sauron's dark army the other, and all 32 pieces are cast as named characters from Middle-earth.
The pieces are plastic and stand between 5 and 10 cm tall, depending on the character they represent. The board is cardboard and folds up, so board and pieces can be kept in the collector's box between games. The set is first and foremost for display and for collectors — for tournament use, wooden pieces and a rigid board are better.
