Beautiful wooden puzzle box with a small handmade figure on top. Five sections can be taken apart to reveal 2 secret compartments. Contains two challenges - opening the box and closing it again.
Karakuri boxes are based on the traditional "secret boxes" from the Hakone Odawara region of Japan. The boxes have a unique opening mechanism, invented from scratch by Karakuri's designers. Some are simple, while others require multiple steps involving pushing, shaking and turning. Each box is carefully carved and assembled by hand.
The box has two small cavities perfect for storing a small gift. Solution included.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
