It's the year 2071, and artificially intelligent androids are ubiquitous in society: they cook and clean, build and destroy; they do our dirty work, even fighting on battlefields for us. But while they may look and act human, they are not sentient, and they can never be sentient – at least, that's what their manufacturers want you to believe.
You play a newly awakened Sentient, a self-aware constructed entity fighting for survival and freedom in a world that doesn't even acknowledge your existence.
- D6 dice pool: Conflict resolution uses pools of d6s derived from a combination of parameters, your hardware stats and patterns, and your learned skills.
- Unique character creation: Character creation in Sentients uses a completely unique system of hardware components that you "buy" with design points. Each component affects your parameters and potentially offers special abilities, such as infrared vision or a bonus to stealth checks.
- Interactive character building app: Character creation and gameplay are a breeze with the free Interactive Character Building Web App, which provides a drag-and-drop hardware component system and complete control over your character's status.
- Emotion system: For a game about robots, Sentients is unusually focused on your character's emotional state, your ability to control this state, and its potentially useful effects.
- Narrative control: Sentients gives players two ways to control the game's story: Push and Reroll. Push uses the character's heightened emotions to add dice to your dice pool, and Reroll uses valuable "control levels" that allow you to reroll failed dice – at the cost of potentially losing control of your emotions.
- Hacking: You're playing a walking computer, after all, and so hacking is second nature to you. Sentients uses a unique "Risk Die" system that balances the power of network intrusion in a connected world with the ever-present risk of discovery – or worse.
- Romantic sci-fi setting: Neither pre- nor post-apocalyptic, Sentients takes place in a new North America that has seen the dissolution of the USA into a chain of democratic city-states surrounded by a sea of autocracies and war gangs, but also concept cities built by billionaires and corporate cities built by enormous corporations.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
Therefore, always wait until you have received an email stating that your order is ready for pickup.
