In 1954, the Swedish government ordered the construction of the world's largest particle accelerator. The facility was completed in 1969, located deep beneath the pastoral landscape of the Mälaröarna islands. The local population called this marvel of technology The Loop.
The acclaimed sci-fi artist Simon Stålenhag's paintings of 1980s Swedish suburbia, populated by fantastic machines and strange animals, have spread like wildfire across the Internet. Stålenhag's depiction of a childhood set against a backdrop of old Volvo cars and overalls, combined with strange and mysterious machines, creates a unique atmosphere that is both recognizable and utterly alien.
Now, for the first time, you get the chance to step into the fantastic world of the Loop.

When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at one of our stores.
If you order on a weekday before 3:00 PM, and the item is in stock at the store in question, the item will often be ready for pickup within a few hours.
Please note that the webshop is connected to our warehouse in Copenhagen. When you order for pickup in Aarhus, it can therefore take up to six days before the order is ready for pickup.
