In an abandoned warehouse are a group of gangsters and their newly acquired loot. The spoils are to be divided, but that is easier said than done when hard-boiled criminals have to agree. It is not long before the guns are drawn and accusations are flying through the air. Who will get out alive with a bag full of money?
In Cash 'n Guns the players are gangsters with a loaded gun and a pile of loot to be shared out between them.
At the start of each round a quantity of loot is laid out on the table. The players then secretly choose whether to load their gun with a live round by playing a "Bang!" card, or to bluff the others by playing a "Click! Click!" card. There is then a countdown from 3, and all players simultaneously point their gun at one of the other gangsters. Now there is another countdown from 3, during which the players may withdraw from the round before the countdown ends. Anyone who withdraws loses the chance of a share of the loot.
The remaining gangsters reveal their cards, and players hit by a "Bang" card lose a life and get no share of the loot. Players who have no guns aimed at them, or who are only hit by "Click Click!" cards, divide the spoils between them.
The game continues like this for 8 rounds, and the winner is the gangster who is still alive with the most money.
Cash 'n Guns is an incredibly entertaining party game that brings back memories of the very best gangster films.
