The innkeeper at the "Wildsvinet" tavern is a cunning old dog! While they ask humble guests who don't ask for much for free rounds, they turn off the tap for hard-drinking beer and keep the cold beer for themselves.
Beer Mug Dice is a dice rolling game without dice! Yes, the dice have been replaced by small beer kegs, and the active player in each round is the host, sharing his beer with players who keep their wishes modest.
The game features nine barrels – two of which are special barrels – that are rolled out of a dice cup. The regular barrel bases display numbers, while the special barrel bases display symbols that allow the host to double or cancel other values. After each roll, only the values/symbols of the "standing" barrels count.
After the active player has struck for the first time, the other players secretly place numbered cards in front of them. The active player then decides whether to restrike, change the values, or end their turn. When their turn is over, the guests reveal their cards and add them together. If the innkeeper's total is less than this sum, they win that round and keep all the beer for themselves, while the guest with the highest card actually loses points! If the innkeeper's total is higher, each player scores the value of their played cards, and the innkeeper keeps the rest.
When one player has at least 75 points, the game ends and the player with the most points wins!
