Chinchiller Dice
In stock at the following stores: Games København
Chinchiller Dice is a bluffing game that is quite literally about blind trust.
On your turn, you roll the two dice and try to take as much sand as possible from the general supply. Any die that has not landed with the special side face up can be rerolled as often as you like. Sooner or later, though, you will roll two chinchillers and have to close one eye.
Once both your eyes are closed, you can no longer roll the dice when your turn comes round again. Instead, your left-hand neighbour tells you what you have rolled after a single roll. Your neighbour is also the one who has to pay for all the sand you score while you are blind. As a result, there is a good chance that your neighbour will try to cheat you. It is up to you either to accept your neighbour's word blindly or to try to catch them red-handed. But if you are greedy while your neighbour is telling the truth, you are the one who loses precious sand.
