Your goal in dnup is to empty your hand of cards.

Each player starts with eight or ten cards in hand, each card having different numbers (from 1-10) at the top and bottom, e.g., 1 and 7. Take all your cards at once; you can rearrange the cards from left to right at any time, but you cannot rotate them. On a turn, you must first discard any cards on the table in front of you, then you can:

1. Play cards from your hand.
2. Add a card to the table.
3. Pick up cards from the table.
4. Flip all cards in your hand.

When playing cards, you can play one or more cards of the same value – but if you play the same number of cards as another player has in front of them, your cards must have a higher value. If you outplay someone, e.g., play two 5s when they have two 2s, they must flip their cards and then return them to their hand.

When adding one card, you add a card of the same value to another player's played cards – but if that player would then have the same number of cards as a third player, the third player's cards must have a lower value, in which case they flip them and return them to their hand.

When picking up cards in front of another player, you must flip them and then add them to your hand.

The first player to empty their hand scores 2 points, and the cards do not return to their hand even if they are beaten. The second player to empty their hand scores 1 point. Play several rounds until a player has at least 4 points, and the player with the most points then wins.
