Isso E Meu Brazilian

Uncle Howard has left us for good. A dyed-in-the-wool beatnik, he lived life to the full. Over the course of his life he visited many countries around the world and always brought back incredible memories and stories of his adventures. In his will, Uncle Howard proposed that his heirs, his nephews and nieces, should divide his estate among themselves by means of a game.

In Isso E Meu (That's Mine) each player represents one of Uncle Howard's heirs, who receive parts of the inheritance to be shared out among them all. As the uncle lived among great artists, many of these items belonged to famous musicians, poets and writers of his day, all of them very valuable.

In each round the starting player divides the revealed cards from the deck into lots. Each lot must contain at least one card, but otherwise the player may divide them as they see fit. The starting player then chooses one of the lots and places their marker on it: "This is mine". Each of the other players must either agree or disagree. To disagree, a player must replace the marker on the lot with their own, value one of the other available lots and add money to it. Once everyone accepts that the lot belongs to one of the players, a new round of claims begins, in which one of the remaining players chooses one of the remaining lots.

Inheritance cards show different types of items, and each type of item has a fixed set-collection scoring. At the end of the game the player with the most valuable inheritance wins. So the players need to pay attention when dividing and try to put together the best collection of items.
