Can you predict how the dice will land in Mino Dice?
Each player receives a number of dice equal to the round number - for example 5 dice in the 5th round. The dice are kept hidden from the others, and all players simultaneously bid the number of tricks they expect to take during the round by showing that number of fingers on one hand. The bids are recorded on the score sheet.
Players then take turns rolling one die each to see who wins the trick. There are ordinary dice with numbers and special dice with a minotaur, griffin or mermaid. The minotaur beats the griffin, which beats the mermaid, which beats the minotaur — and all of these special characters beat numbers. The player who wins the trick collects the dice in front of their screen and then chooses a die from their own supply to start the next trick.
When all tricks have been taken and the round is over, points are counted. The most points go to whoever correctly predicted how many tricks they would take.
The player with the highest total score after the final round wins.
