Millipedes want to be as long as possible to stand out from their fellow centipedes, and in Pantolino, players can help them grow and grow – but only if they have shoes to put on the millipedes' feet.
At the start of the game, each player takes a millipede "head" tile, while the foot tiles are placed in the center of the table. On a turn, the active player rolls all four dice, sets aside one die they want, and then rolls up to two more times, with the option to re-roll dice set aside after the first roll. After their third roll (or earlier if they wish), they can take any foot tile for which they have matching symbols on the dice (where suns count as a wild symbol) and add it to their millipede tile.
The game ends when all foot tiles have been claimed, and the player with the longest millipede wins. The rules include a variant for older players where shoes can be stolen from an opponent.
