It was a beautiful day in Hawthorn Heath. People danced, read, and played. Suddenly the weather changed. No one was ready. Except for you, a clever merchant. Sell umbrellas when it rains, ice cream when it's hot, tea and coffee when it's cold, kites when it's windy, and lanterns when it's foggy. But customers are clever, so only the merchant with the last lowest price will make the sale.
Park Life: People is a trick-taking, set-collecting, tableau-building game about careful timing, profiting from opportunities, and adapting to other players' strategies. Park Life has 5 weather-based suits. The lowest value card in the suit wins the trick, but it's also worth fewer points in the end. Additionally, each sale drains your supplies, causing you to discard extra cards face-down when you win a trick. You can quickly make many small sales, but you'll head home before others, allowing them to make dramatic comebacks! But wait too long, and others will make some solid sales, securing their lead.
While very similar to Park Life: Hedgehog, this design differs not only aesthetically but also in its card composition (5 suits numbered 1-7 and the inclusion of wildcards and collectible cards), in its scoring (only after 3 rounds), in the lack of card reset after a round, and in its winning condition (most points after victories in the third round). It is considered slightly less family-friendly and more oriented towards "gamers."
