Strange World Above The Clouds
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Create a strange world inhabited by enigmatic creatures. With every mistake against the creation constraints, dangerous Tzimimes appear.
Earn the most stars as you create a world made up of 16 cards, while keeping an eye on the Tzimimes trying to devour your cards.
Each player has a play area in front of them. Playing cards in an opponent's area is forbidden.
Each turn you draw 3 cards and then play your cards in turn, one at a time, into your world, orthogonally adjacent to a card previously played in your play area.
Several types of land have placement constraints. If these are not met, the card is played face down, Tzimime side up, and it scores no stars at the end of the game.
Other lands have compulsory play effects.
Some cards add vertical and horizontal scoring.
In Strange World you have to make the best of the worst. With a tight draft of 3 cards, your opponents will certainly hand you cards that are not so easy to play in your play area. But the fun of the game comes from optimising around these constraints.
