Trickarus
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Icarus and his friends have made handmade wings. Day and night, rejoicing in their new-found freedom, they fly higher and higher. Trickarus is a trick-taking game in which you fly, tilt and try to avoid soaring into the hot, hot sun. The game can be played in either competitive or cooperative mode.
The winner of each trick moves to the next open space above them, unless they fly into the sun on the top space of the board, in which case they plummet to below the lowest player.
Each card has two different ranks (which always add up to 10), and these can switch if a card of rank 5 is played to the trick. With rules simple enough to learn in a couple of minutes, Trickarus is easy enough for those unfamiliar with trick-taking games to start playing within a few minutes, while offering enough challenge for more experienced trick-takers to experiment with different strategies.
