A Place for All My Books is a puzzle game about collecting, sorting and organising books, in which players arrange stacks of books in different rooms of their flat as personal projects. Once finished, they can admire their achievements and collect their rewards – not least renewed energy, which they can then spend on heading out into the village to fetch more books.
Over nine rounds, players visit locations and collect books to complete goals and earn victory points. The player with the most victory points wins.
The organisational puzzles are easy to solve; the challenge is how many of them you can manage at once to make the most of each 'admire' action.
A Place for All My Books includes a solo mode in which you have to beat the game's rival: Penelope Eveready, a tireless extrovert who seems to snap up all the books you have been wanting.
