Catan: Seafarers (English)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Expansion for Catan in which players build ships and sail out to the neighbouring islands. Nine scenarios are included, from the first voyages of discovery to the fight against pirates and the building of the wonders of the world. English edition from 2025.
A ship costs wood and wool and is placed like a road, but the ships at the front of a route may be moved, so it is possible to change course along the way. The expansion also adds gold fields, which give a resource of the player's choice, and a pirate that troubles the sea. The frame pieces can be combined with those of the base game, so the board can vary in size from game to game.
