Codex Naturalis (French/English)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Card game for 2–4 players in which each player builds their own manuscript page out of cards. The game is designed by Thomas Dupont, illustrated by Maxime Morin and published by Bombyx, and it won the Tric Trac d'Or in 2021.
Cards are laid on the corners of those already in place, and the visible symbols are resources used to play more expensive cards and fulfil objectives. When a corner is covered its resource disappears, so every placement is a trade-off. When a player reaches 20 points a final round is played, and shared and secret objectives give bonus points.
