In Fashion Police, a revised edition of "The Fashion Game" produced in early 2023 in Japan, players get to rate others' fashion sense and identify who was dressed for which occasion. But being a critic isn't enough! At the same time, you have to design your outfit for the occasion. Did you dress for the Stone Age in the latest fast fashion clothes? Did you dress head to toe in faux fur for the beach? Don't get caught not dressing for the occasion!
Fashion Police is a party game that offers three game modes (both competitive and cooperative play). Whichever ruleset you choose, players are first given a theme/occasion (60 unique ones, including "Tacky Tourist", "Apocalypse", "Monday at the office", "Too Young for your age", etc.) for which they must design an outfit. Players place, layer, combine, rotate, flip, etc. their randomly drawn pattern cards (60 unique options) under clothing templates to create their look – creativity knows no bounds! Players then guess who was dressed for which occasion to score points.
Using the mechanics of popular word-based party games, Fashion Police creates lively, organic discussions about players' answers and designs without the exclusivity of some of these language-dependent games. Laugh as you learn how much you (don't) understand fashion in this easy-to-learn game for all ages and groups!
