Golem

Golem is a strategy game for 1-4 players from Cranio Creations, designed by Flaminia Brasini, Virginio Gigli and Simone Luciani. The game is based on the legend of the golem in Prague in the 1500s, with the players as kabbalists who bring clay figures to life and send them out into the districts of the city.

In the middle of the table stands a 3D synagogue. Each round, coloured marbles are poured down through the tower and spread across five action rows. On their turn, a player chooses a marble and carries out the matching action - activating a golem, obtaining clay, buying artefacts, casting spells or a personal action - and the colour of the marble also determines how far that player's master moves through Prague. The golems must be kept in check with students and knowledge, otherwise they run amok and have to be buried. After five rounds, points are counted for golems, artefacts, spells and personal goals.

The box contains a game board, 4 modular player boards, 8 punchboards, 100 wooden pieces, 15 marbles, a marble tower, 40 cards and a rules booklet.
