La Famiglia: The Great Mafia War
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
Conflict game for exactly four players in two teams of two, fighting for control of Sicily during a mafia war in the 1980s. The box contains over 600 wooden pieces, dual-layer family boards, 10 sorting boxes and a large game board.
The game alternates between a planning phase, in which fighters and hidden orders are placed, and a combat phase, in which the orders are carried out. Each of the six mafia families has its own abilities, so teammates must coordinate and combine them to win. It is a heavy team game with hidden information – closer to Diplomacy than to classic area control with dice.
