Strategy game for 2-4 players in which Vikings are sent ashore to gather resources and capture buildings along the fjord. The box contains 4 landscape boards, 4 fjord boards, 1 sea board, 1 trophy board, 52 Vikings, 90 resource tiles, 43 building tiles, 30 longships, 15 construction site tiles, 12 shields, 5 trophies, a bag, a score pad and rules.
A Viking stays where it is placed, and that space cannot be used again. Each new Viking must be placed next to an earlier Viking or a longship, so the fjord is built out in connected chains, and the order of placement decides which buildings can be captured: houses by adjacency, watchtowers by connecting two, castles by chains of four or more. Points come from filled longships and completed construction sites, while a longship that is not filled costs five points.
