Mamma Mia

Mamma Mia! is a card game in which players place pizza ingredients in a common pool and then try to time their pizza baking to make use of what is available in the kitchen.

Each player starts the game with eight different pizza orders to fill, with one of these order cards in hand; each player also starts with a hand of ingredient cards (showing pepperoni, mushroom, pineapple, green pepper or olives). On a turn, a player places one or more ingredient cards of the same type on a common stack and then optionally adds a pizza order card to the stack. He then refills his hand by drawing as many cards as he played, from either the common ingredient supply or his own order card.

When the draw pile runs out, the shared stack of cards is turned over and sorted by ingredient until an order turns up. If there are enough ingredient cards available to fill the order, its owner scores it; if not, the player can make up the difference by playing cards from his hand (and so score the order) or put the card back in his pile of orders.

When all orders have been scored or returned, the ingredients from the pizzas are shuffled and a new round begins. After three complete rounds, the player who has filled the most orders wins.
