Mariposas

Every spring, millions of butterflies fly from Mexico to spread across the whole eastern part of North America. Every autumn, millions of butterflies fly back to Mexico - yet none of these butterflies manages to take part in both journeys.
Mariposas is played over three seasons: spring, summer and autumn. The aim is to get your butterflies to travel north in spring, reproduce in summer and return to their starting point in autumn. Each season ends with a scoring round, and at the end of autumn the player with the most points is named the winner of the game.
Mariposas is a very beautifully illustrated game, and its designer previously made Wingspan, another very beautiful game, about birds.
