Mysterium (Danish)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
A group of psychics has been summoned to an old, haunted manor house, where a ghost is spreading horror and dread among the residents and servants.
Legend has it that the ghost is a former resident of the manor who was executed many years ago for a murder that person never committed.
Mysterium is a cooperative game in which one player is the ghost and the remaining players are psychics trying to help the ghost find peace.
To succeed, the psychics must identify the murder weapon, the scene of the crime and the real murderer. That is easier said than done, because the ghost, who knows every detail of the crime, is not allowed to speak to the other players. The ghost can only communicate through dream cards, which carry mysterious, wondrous and beautiful illustrations.
Mysterium is a great family and cooperative game with the social side at its heart, as the psychic players can help each other interpret the dream cards handed to them by the ghost. It is a unique and innovative game that everyone can join in, and the difficulty can be varied so that it is never too hard or too easy.
Mysterium has the potential to become one of the really big family classics.
