Nidavellir (Danish/English)
In stock at the following stores: Games København, Games Aarhus
The dwarf kingdom of Nidavellir is threatened by the dragon Fafnir. As the king's envoy, you must search the kingdom's taverns, hire the most skilled dwarves and gather the army that can defeat it.
Each round, all players place a coin face down at each of the three taverns. When the coins are revealed, the highest bidder chooses first among the tavern's dwarves. What sets the game apart is the Coin Building system: two coins can be melded into one of higher value, so that you can bid harder later in the game.
The five dwarf classes – blacksmiths, hunters, warriors, explorers and miners – each score points in their own way, and if you have the most of a class, you attract a hero. The most points at the end of the game wins.
