Auction and set collection game themed on ancient Egypt, designed by Reiner Knizia. Over three epochs the players bid with sun tiles for lots of tiles, collecting pharaohs, monuments, the Nile and civilisation to increase their power and fame. This edition has new components and illustrations by Ian O'Toole.
The tension lies in the timing. An epoch can end before everyone has used their sun tiles, so the choice is between taking a small gain now or waiting for a better lot. There is no text on the game components themselves; only the rules are in English.
