The fourth edition of Eames Playing Cards celebrates The Little Toy, a small variation of The Toy. Unlike its larger predecessor, which was made for people to play "in", Charles and Ray made this design for children and adults to play "with".
Originally released in 1952, The Little Toy was designed to inspire creative construction through a series of colorful panels, wireframes, and connectors. For playing cards, the components were used to create a minimalist numbering system, with the small connectors acting as edge markers for quick reference.
Eames Playing Cards come in a book-printed case printed on sustainable paper with vegetable dyes. The box design references the famous home built by Charles and Ray, a creative base where they lived for many years. Made in the USA
